Toastmasters DTM and motivational speaker Clint Cora has launched a new online Motivational WebTV show. It will be a fairly regular series discussing motivation, achieving success as well as diversity issues. The most current episode can be viewed right at the top of the Clint Cora website homepage.

Canadian Motivational Speaker Clint Cora On At 9:45 AM

Canadian motivational speaker and karate world champion Clint Cora will be on at 9:45 am this Saturday at the Chateau Bromont in Quebec. He will be speaking to an audience from all over the eastern Ontario, upstate eastern New York, Vermont and Quebec areas. He will present a slightly shorter version of his Life Champion In You motivational keynote, which is his signature motivational speech for corporations and associations. If you plan to attend the TM D61 conference where he will be speaking and want to connect with him in person, make sure that you do so either right after his presentation or during the lunch banquet. He will be departing Quebec right after lunch.

Toastmasters Club Webmaster Duties To Be Passed On

The webmaster duties of Comfortably Speaking Toastmasters club in Mississauga will be passed on. Past president and motivational speaker Clint Cora has been the club's webmaster for some time and since he must spend more time with his new professional speaking and author career, it's time for others to take over the maintenance of the club website.

Motivational Speaker Near Montreal Quebec This Saturday

Once again, I will be the token motivational speaker for another Toastmasters district (61) conference this weekend. This time, I will be at a place called Bromont which is about an hour south of Montreal, Quebec. Too bad this event won't be a few weeks down the road because the conference location is right at one of the ski resorts in the Eastern Townships region. I could have gotten in some skiing on the same trip. But that's okay because at least the driving will be nice and there will be a new audience to motivate. My talk is scheduled for Saturday morning at Chateau Bromont. This will be a uniquely bilingual conference where there will be concurrent English and French sessions. I don't think there will be a French speaking motivational speaker there. My motivational talk will be in English.

Motivational Speaker In Niagara Falls New York

I was the token motivational speaker at the Toastmasters district 65 conference in Niagara Falls, New York yesterday. My session had a full room to a great audience. I did about 45 minutes with time for questions to fill in the full hour which is longer than other district conferences. The conference was held at the Seneca Niagara Casino Hotel which had superb facilities including built in screen and computer projectors (and not to mention free garage parking). Niagara Falls turned out to be a great location being so close to the border.

The Q&A session was also active with questions ranging from my personal and professional history, Toastmasters background, availability to present to clubs and martial arts. The conference organizers set up a table for me outside the seminar room so I could sell my Life Champion In You books and CDs which were widely received by many interested members of the audience.

A very well organized and speaker friendly district. Kudos to Melinda and the rest of her team at district 65 for putting on a great conference! It was great to meet and have some positive impact on so many people from the western New York area.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - September 28, 2009 - According to former Canadian National Karate Team member and Karate World Champion Clint Cora, Canadian companies must keep their employees motivated, especially during these tougher economic times. Certain Staff Are Vulnerable If Not Motivated

Motivation is required for any employee but is even more crucial for those in roles that have more direct consequences on revenues such as company sales forces. However, Cora claims that this may not be true as he states, “Security of a job is not the only motivating factor among many employees, particularly younger ones. Even though it’s true that many may stay with a company without much motivation from management, it doesn’t mean that they will be motivated to perform their jobs at high levels. Quality as well as loyalty will suffer as a result with potential negative impact on bottom lines. Companies still need to motivate during both good and bad times.”

Canadian Arctic Needs Motivational Speakers

When I think about the high drop out rates of Inuit school kids up in the Canadian Arctic as well as the general tough times the communities up there are going through, it's apparent that the region could use visits from motivational speakers. Only a quarter of the Inuit students will finish high school. Alcohol abuse and suicides are rampant. I would be more than willing to go up there as a motivational speaker and speak for free if my travel was paid for. Unfortunately, travel to the Canadian Arctic, especially flights, are very expensive. But if any government agencies or private organizations with interests in the Arctic are willing to foot the travel cost, then I'm in and I will be more than happy to bring both my adult motivational presentation as well as my youth talks.
