Conferences On Cruise Ships

Yes, it's true, they do have conferences on cruise ships. I did attend a cruise on the Mediterrean Sea as part of a pharmaceutical company meeting. At that time, I was product marketing manager and was involved in organizing a big meeting for our entire sales force and marketing team on a Celebrity cruise of the Mediterrean. Thinking about that particular cruise, I was quoted in a recent article about meetings on cruise ships.

Toronto Conference Speakers For 2010

Toronto is the biggest conference town in Canada with several very large facilities. Even many international groups and associations have their annual meetings here in Toronto. Many big conferences are starting to be announced for 2010. Any Toronto area conferences that could use a motivational speaker or diversity speaker should consider the services of Karate World Champion Clint Cora. Not only is he an award-winning speaker, travel costs to get Clint in for a Toronto area conference is zero. No hotel rooms or flights required to bring in Clint Cora since he lives in the Toronto area. See more info on Toronto conference speakers.

Personal Improvement On The Rise At Conferences

During my diversity talk with a group of executives today, one of the topics that came up had to do with some of us observing that personal improvement workshops, seminars or sessions are beginning to be regular part of many industry conferences. Traditionally, many industry conferences for specific fields such as accounting or physiotherapy, have been 100% technical content directly related to those fields.

Now, there is recognition that personal improvement education such as diversity training, communication skills, or stress management, can benefit professionals greatly. Many industry conferences that were formerly all technical, do have personal improvement sessions and they have been very well attended with calls for more such sessions for future events. I will certainly make myself available as a conference speaker with my diversity and motivation presentations to these types of conferences.
