College Speaker Clint Cora Enhances Campus Diversity Program
College speaker Clint Cora enhanced his college campus diversity program to reflect the current needs of the audience. This is something that all speakers should keep in mind when creating or updating their speeches or speaking programs. The fact in the college scene is that many students worry about finding their first big career jobs after graduation. So Clint added a job hunting component in his college diversity program to help students with great tips on resumes, job interviews and networking given this new world of diversity. This is making diversity skills practical. See the new description of his college speaking programs.

How To Do Well In College University Study Video
Here's a new video where I describe the study skills strategy I used to pull myself out of the rut during my studies. It is a great effective strategy in answering how to do well in college or university. High school students can also use it as well. In fact, they are highly recommended to use it as the earlier they get used to this method, the better they will do in college or university. A great thing about this method is that it doesn't involve any cramming for exams! So check out this How To Do Well In College University video to learn more about it.

Advice For College Students Facing Job Market
I was asked by a college magazine on some advice to give to college students, particularly seniors who will be facing the job market. Since I speak at colleges, one of the things that I tell students all the time is that they should work to develop their people skills, ie., their ability to interact well with lots of different types of people. People skills will be more important than their grades when determining how successful they will be in their future careers. Also, because we live in a more diverse society now, it is important for students to be able to work with people from all different backgrounds and cultures. This is what I do in my college diversity presentations. People and diversity skills, whether acquired through part time work, volunteer work or even extra-curricular activities with people other than their friends, will separate these forward thinking students from their competition in the job market. Of course, this will work equally well for those who have already graduate too.

Diversity On College Campuses Is Important
Looks like that diversity on college campuses is an important issue as here is yet another college student talking about the diversity program presented by Clint Cora. From University College Graduate To Top In Drug Representative Job
Here's a great video on how one university college graduate went to the top in a new drug representative job. See it at college to drug representative video. It's living proof that good things can happen if you get the right tools to achieve your goals. And for achieving goals within Toastmasters, it means utilizing all the available tools you have access to including both the CC and CL manuals, not just the CC one.

Motivation Talk Had Mostly College Students
I did my keynote motivation talk again yesterday afternoon and it was at TAIE Institute in Toronto where they have an onsite Toastmasters club. There was about 45 people with a wide mix but I would estimate that 60 to 70% were college students. The talk went over really well since my motivation talk suits both corporate or association as well as college student audiences. It was great to hear college students tell me afterwards just how inspired they felt since it's always good to motivate them to pursue success early on. I am definitely open to do more motivation talks for the college student crowd.

Success In College and University Article
For those of you who know of students attending college or university, you just might want to alert them to the following article simply called Success in College and University. Life in college or university should not just be on studying. There are other things to do not only for fun, but for picking up important skills that will be useful for future careers and life in general. Many of these skills cannot be learned in the classroom or lecture hall. Overall success in college or university involves a balance. And for the rest of us, this same type of balance should be with us for life. That's why it is important to get these college kids into the right habit early. Check out the article for more on this.

College Talk Will Include Time Management For Students
I'm working on a keynote speech for college and university students and my motivational talk for this audience will include an element for time management since students are often piled up pretty high in school work among other things. Effective time management techniques came into my life when I first went to MBA school and they were an absolute necessity to help me get through. So I've decided that my college presentation will include the time management section while I've decided not to include it for my youth talk. Other topics are of priority for that age group.
