I went to a few other clubs this past week. One in particular was quite huge with an average turnout of 25 members. However, last year, they did not get any educational awards at all. I was flabbergasted by this. It seems that their members don't pursue the projects very often. This is too bad since it limits members' development if frequent projects are not encouraged. I know that we at our Mississauga Comfortably Speaking Toastmasters club is on the right track since we are highly encouraging everyone to do projects in the CC and CL manuals on a regular basis.
As a result, we can expect a few future CCs at our club in the near future. My prediction is that Mei Yee, Raj and Francis will be the next group of new CCs.
