Dues For Next Meeting

Thanks to those of you who paid membership dues to Mei Yee this past weekend.  If you are planning to attend the next club meeting on September 20, you can give the dues cash or cheques payable to Comfortably Speaking Toastmasters to me since Mei Yee will be absent for that meeting.

That club meeting will be your last chance to pay in person.  If you miss that one, you will have to mail her a cheque to her address as specified in her e-mail.  All members who pay by the end of the month will remain as active members at TI in California.  Those who don't will not be active members according to TI and this will affect any potential awards and other TM activities that only club members are allowed to do.  So please get your membership dues in.

Raj's photo is up at our Mississauga Toastmasters Club Executive page as well as Len's bio at our Toastmasters Members page.

Caroleen's Bio Is Online at Mississauga Toastmasters Website

Our club Secretary, Caroleen, has been added in on our Mississauga Toastmasters club website.  Even with just the three member bios we have online so far, you can see that it's always interesting to know more about our members.  If you are afraid that you don't have a portrait type of photo, don't worry because I could probably Photoshop one of your existing shots you send to either Raj or Roxine.  So keep them coming since for a Mississauga Toastmasters club of about 30 members, we certainly need more than just three bios.

Let's Get Some More Member Bios In

One of the things that I find weird at almost every Toastmasters club is that although many members spend almost every meeting learning from each other, they still don't really know what each other does outside of Toastmasters.  Personally, I think this is a lost of networking opportunities.

We only have three member bios submitted for our club website and out of over 30 members now, it would really be nice to have more.  So think about putting in your bios to Raj and Roxine.

Mario's Bio Added To Mississauga Toastmasters Website

Mario Moreno, our new VP-PR, has been added to our Mississauga Toastmasters Members Bio webpage.  We would sure like to see more member bios there so if your last name is from A to L, send your bio to Raj and if it is from M to Z, send it to Roxine as indicated in one of my emails to you all.
